today I am not happy.
Doefje our very old dog (16 years old)
is very sick.
he is not eating and not drinking any more.
his stomach is upset.
I am trying to feed him some porridge and some soup.
but it is not working very well.
I think his time is running out...

I am so sorry that your little furbaby is not feeling well. I hope you can keep him comfortable and possibly see returning health. Hugs to you Efie, I love your site, and I know what it's like to have a furbaby that you love also.

I'm sorry for your grief. I lost my beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgi after 15 years. She just went to sleep and didn't wake up. I'm convinced that since God's first charge to Adam was to name all the animals, and since our animals have such unique personalities, they are there in heaven awaiting us. I know how you feel.
